Rider Nation will have plenty of opportunities to remember and celebrate the life of George Reed.

The legendary Roughrider running back dies last weekend, just a day before his 84th birthday.

On Friday afternoon, a “Celebration of Life” service for Reed will be held in the Viterra International Trade Centre in the REAL District. They are expecting a big crowd with the doors opening at 1130am, and the service will start at 1:00pm.

Rider fans are encouraged to wear their finest “green and white” gear.

This is another part of the team remembering Reed. With the “Legends Game” this weekend, the team will be celebrating the new inductees into the “Plaza of Honour”. Fans are encouraged to get into their seats a little early on Saturday, for a tribute to Reed before the Riders take on the Hamilton Tiger Cats.
