Thunder clinches second place in PFC

The Regina Thunder (6-2) locked up home-field advantage for the first round of the playoffs with 33-10 win over the Edmonton Huskies (4-4) on Sunday at Leibel Field.

Ryland Leichert had a pair of touchdowns, Isaiah Woodley also had a touchdown for Thunder.

With the win, the Thunder will host the Huskies once again on Sunday in the first round of the Prairie Football Conference (PFC) playoffs. The Thunder finished second in the league standings.

The other PFC semi-final will see the Saskatoon Hilltops (8-0) host the Calgary Colts (3-5)
