Regina is coming off a 6-1 loss against the Saskatoon Blades last Saturday night. Captain Tanner Howe scored the lone goal for the Pats.

Yesterday, changes were made to the Regiment’s 20-year-old situation with the team claiming defenceman Carson Haynes off waivers from the Vancouver Giants. In a corresponding move, the Regina Pats placed 20-year-old forward Zack Stringer on waivers.

The Hitmen were defeated by the Moose Jaw Warriors last night 5-3. Calgary is currently in the middle of a five-game Eastern Division swing. So far they’re 1-1 on their trip.

This evening’s contest will mark the first of four matchups between the Pats and Hitmen. Tonight will be the only time the two teams will meet in 2023. Their next matchup is slated for January 28, 2024 in Calgary.
