Two dead in pair of separate accidents

Two separate accidents in Saskatchewan have left a pair of motorists dead.

On October 12, at 6:00 a.m., the Indian Head RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision on the 800 block of Grand Avenue in Indian Head.

The woman driver and vehicle’s sole occupant were declared deceased at the scene.

She was identified as a 19-year-old female from the

provincial news, Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan news, highway, collision, fatal collision, dead, deaths, STARS, Indian Head, Qu’Appelle, Weyburn, Redvers area.

Indian Head RCMP continues to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.

Also, on October 12, at 6:40 a.m., Carlyle RCMP responded to a multi-vehicle collision on Highway #13 near Kisbey, Saskatchewan.

RCMP officers, Kisbey and Stoughton Fire Services, local EMS and STARS responded to the incident.

A preliminary investigation determined an SUV and a truck collided. After the initial report, an additional call for service was received advising a third vehicle, a car, had struck the initial collision scene.

The SUV has two occupants from the Weyburn Detachment area, with the driver being transported to the hospital by STARS with injuries described as severe. The passenger was transported to the hospital with injuries related as non-life-threatening.

The truck had three occupants. The driver, a 31-year-old man from Redvers, was declared deceased by EMS. The two passengers were taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

The lone driver of the car was transported to hospital, injuries described as non-life-threatening.
