Regina police looking for information after man shot

Regina police are asking for the public’s help after a firearms offence that took place this past Saturday in Regina, where a 25-year-old male was injured.

Saturday, at approximately 10:25 a.m., police were dispatched to a residence on the 1500 block of Elphinstone Street for the report of an injured male.

Information received was that a male had sustained a gunshot wound.

EMS arrived and the male was transported to hospital, where it was determined that his injury was non-life-threatening.

Early reports indicated that a male assailant had fled the scene.

A firearm was not recovered and the incident is still under investigation.
