Fans will be key, as the Riders ready for the Argos Saturday

The Saskatchewan Roughriders (6-11) would like to punch a ticket to a playoff game, as they get set to host the Toronto Argonauts (14-2) Saturday afternoon, at Mosaic Stadium.

The boatmen are home and cooled when it comes to a playoff spot, as they will host the CFL East Final Sunday, November 11th.

The Riders are in danger of falling out of the playoff race after dropping their last six games in a row,

A funky quirk in the schedule has the Roughriders on a bye week next week, while the rest of the league plays its final games. A Rider win Saturday puts them in the playoffs, and the team is looking to the fan base to fill Mosaic Stadium with “Rider Pride” one last time this season.

As usual, the last home game of the regular season is dedicated to Rider Fans with the “Fan Appreciation Game”, and its an early start with a 2:00 pm kick off.

Party in the Park starts rolling at 11:00am, and it will have the usual features of music, food and other entertainment as well. That includes an autograph session with some of the alumni.

At halftime the “2023 13th Fan Award” will be handed out, as well as one lucky fan will drive away in a brand new car from the Capital Automotive Group “Pick 6” Giveaway.

After the game, fans will be allowed onto the field, and there will be a chance to get some autographs from the players.

This is also the “Cameco Riders Touchdown for Dreams” game. This year, pink blankets are being sold on line, in the Rider store, and on the concourse of Mosaic, with all proceeds going to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan.
