Winter Camping Open in Saskatchewan

Winter camping season has arrived – and Saskatchewan Residents can now book camping spots online for Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park, Echo Valley and Buffalo Pound Provincial Parks.

Making it simple this year – the return of the Saskatchewan Park’s “Camp Easy” Yurts from November 1st to March 15th of 2024.

The yurts come with four bunk style cots, electric heat, a queen bed and a propane camp stove for cooking.

For a more rustic experience spaces with electricity and without are also available at reduced rates.

“Our provincial parks are meeting the increasing demand for four-season camping while offering unique winter experiences,” Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Laura Ross said. “With many opportunities to explore nature, we encourage everyone to take a moment to enjoy the season and experience Saskatchewan Provincial Parks in a new way.”

Additionally a bunny hug celebrating our parks is available as well.
