Four members of the Regina Thunder named as CJFL Second Team All-Stars

The Canadian Junior Football League have announced their Second Team All-Star Offensive and Defensive teams on Tuesday, with the Regina Thunder represented on both sides of the ball.

On offence, running back Ryland Leichert was selected. This season, 152 carries for 1017 yards and 8 touchdowns.

Receiver Isaiah Woodley was also named a Second Team All-Star for the second straight season. Woodley had 41 receptions for 677 yards and 5 touchdowns in 2023.

Offensive lineman Nick Makowsky was named to the squad.

On defence, Thunder defensive end Payton O’Connor was picked as a Second Team All-Star. This season, O’Connor had 9 tackles, 3 assisted tackles, 1 knockdown, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery.
