Mini Donuts, Livestock, and Taylor Swift: Agribition just days away (audio)

the Agribition burning of the brand

One of North America’s premier farm shows is set to return to Regina November 20th to 25th at REAL District. Agribition is not only a huge draw for Canadians, it also attracts visitors from all over the world to learn about Canadian livestock genetics.

“Even with animal Ag-Tech, we’ve got people coming from the U.K. (and) from Australia,” noted Shaun Kindopp, CEO of Agribition. “International is a huge part of what we do. There’s a lot of people who come from all over the world for cattle genetics and to take in everything that show has to offer and we’re excited to welcome our international family members back.”

Agribition events include stock dog trials, bison judging, alpaca seminars, guest speakers, the Maple Leaf Finals Rodeo, and even a chance to win a trip to a Taylor Swift concert.

“The uptick from that contest has been fantastic,” stated Kindopp. “We’ve had some fantastic applicants come in, some videos of people singing and dancing, so we’re very excited to see who wins this.”

The winner of the Taylor Swift contest will be announced Thursday night after the rodeo, Nov 23rd.
