A hit and run left a woman’s lifeless body on a Regina Street early Saturday morning.

At approximately 1 a.m., Regina police rushed to the 1100 block of Rae Street in response to a call about an injured person.

Sadly, they discovered a severely injured woman at the scene. Paramedics transported her to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

 Investigators confirmed she was a victim of a hit-and-run, with the driver fleeing the scene. The police have yet to provide further details, including a description of the suspect vehicle or the victim’s identity.
