Saskatchewan Roughrider wide receiver Samuel Emilus successful sophomore season has apparently generated attention south of the border.

According to 3DownNation, Emilus worked out with the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals.

Canadian receiver Sam Emilus works out for Arizona Cardinals

In 2023, the 26-year-old had 70 receptions for 1,097 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

Saskatchewan selected the Montreal, QC product with their first round pick (seventh overall) in the 2022 CFL Draft.

Collegiately, Emilus spent three seasons at the University of Massachusetts (2018-20) before he transferred to Louisiana Tech. for the 2021 campaign.

The wide receiver is currently under contract with the Roughriders for 2024 season.
