Pats Captain Tanner Howe named to CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game

Regina Pats Tanner Howe will be among the players competing in the CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game next month.

The CHL announced the players who will be involved in the game on Tuesday, including Howe.

This season, the Prince Albert, Sask. product has 39 points (20G-19A) in 33 games. Howe leads the Pats in goals, points, power play goals (8PPG), power play points (14) and faceoff win percentage (52.3%).

The 18-year-old is projected to be drafted in the first round of the 2024 NHL Draft.

Moncton, N.B. will host the Top Prospects Game on January 24.

The WHL will be represented by 12 forwards, four defencemen, and two goaltenders.

Last season, Connor Bedard captained Team Red at the 2023 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Langley, B.C., where Team White beat Team Red 4-2.
