Pedestrian hit in motor vehicle collision has died

The Regina Police Service has provided an update on last week’s motor vehicle-pedestrian collision.

Police say that the man who was hit has since died.

On the evening of Wednesday, December 20, at 6:20 p.m., police were dispatched to the intersection of 13th Avenue and Cameron Street. Information received indicated that a pedestrian crossing the street had been struck by a vehicle.

The injured man was transported to hospital with severe injuries and has since passed away.

This incident remains under investigation. It has not yet been determined what charges, if any, will result pending the outcome of this investigation.
