Police arrest suspect for second degree murder

Last Friday night at about 10:30 a.m., Regina police responded to an incident in the 3000 block of 6th Avenue North, discovering 39-year-old Dallas Paul Iron with severe stab wounds.

Despite immediate first aid, Iron succumbed to his injuries.

The police began their investigation, involving the Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Unit, and following that thorough investigation, 46-year-old Trevor Roy SUNSHINE was arrested and charged with Second-Degree Murder.

SUNSHINE was scheduled for his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court this morning.
