Police have issued a release telling people to avoid the area around the 400 block of Albert Street North, where a business apparently had an explosion and a fire.

The incident was described as an explosive event by Regina Fire on X, formerly known as Twitter, that caused extensive damage to the building and property. Three minor injuries were reported and fire crews were asking people to stay away from the area while operations continued.

Police said no other information is available at this time.
