Manitoba Ag Days to return next week (AUDIO)

One of the premiere farm shows on the prairies is set to fill up the Keystone Centre in Brandon, MB on January 16th, 17, and 18th. The theme for Manitoba Ag Days is “produced on the Prairies,” which can be seen throughout the show thanks to products, equipment, and speakers who got their start on the prairies. We caught up with Teresa Hildebrand from the show to learn more about this year’s event.

Several guest speakers will be part of the show over the course of three days including David Frum talking about geopolitics in these uncertain times and Graham Sherman of Tool Shed Brewing Company. There will also be presentations variable rate technology and how to deal with salinity issues. Even ranchers are included in the show with events like the bull congress. 15 farms will talk about their latest genetics.

The innovation showcase will feature 32 contenders in seven different categories showcasing new and exciting agriculture products that may benefit your operation. The winner of each category will be announced on January 17th at the show.

In total, there will be approximately 550 exhibitors at the Keystone Centre over the three days. Manitoba Ag Days runs from 9am to 5pm each day and is $20/day or $40 for a three day pass. A kick off breakfast is scheduled for Tuesday morning starting at 7am at the Manitoba Dome Building. CLICK HERE for more information and to buy your tickets in advance.
