The province is reporting a death at the Saskatoon Reintegration Unit. 

The 54-year-old man was found unresponsive in his bedroom late Saturday night. Corrections staff initiated life saving measures, and called EMS. EMS declared the man deceased at 12:03 a.m. Sunday. 

The Saskatoon police and Coroner’s service are investigating. The ministry of corrections, policing and public safety will also be conducting an internal investigation. 

No foul play is suspected at this time.
