The Coachella Music Festival announced their massive lineup for 2024 and many of these bands I’ve never heard of! The headliners are familiar like No Doubt and Lana Del Rey, but several bands and performer are completely out of my music wheelhouse.

Now, I’m not saying these bands and performers are awful because I’ve never actually listened to them, but the names of these people makes a person ask “who the heck are they?” They’re obviously making an impact on fans if they’ve been added to a massive festival like Coachella. Every year when Coachella releases their lineup I feel more old than ever because I’ve never heard of 75 per cent of these performers! As one person said on a Facebook post, “at 38 I feel like I have one foot in the grave” seeing this lineup. I’m not sure if I feel like that, but I guess it serves a reminder to have a more open mind when it comes to music and and to know what people are enjoying outside of country music.

Besides No Doubt and Lana Del Rey, the Coachella Music Festival will welcome Doja Cat, Tyler, the Creator, Sabrina Carpenter, Jon Batiste, Bebe Rexha, and several others. The event runs April 12th to 14th and April 19th to 21st in Indio, California.
