Roughriders add former Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed receiver Geronimo Allison.

Allison (6’3-202) joins the Roughriders after spending six seasons in the NFL. He played in 41 career games as a Packer, including 14 starts, over four seasons.

The 30-year-old’s first reception was a four-yard touchdown reception from Aaron Rodgers in Week 8 of the 2016 season.

In 2020, Allison signed with the Detroit Lions, seeing action in three games. He also spent time with the Atlanta Falcons in 2022.

The wide receiver had 89 career NFL receptions for 1,045 yards, with an 11.7 yards per reception average, and six touchdowns.

In 2023, Allison was with the Vegas Vipers of the XFL.

Before his time in the NFL, Allison spent two season with the University of Illinois (2014-15). He posted 106 career receptions for 1,480 yards, a 14 yards per catch average, and eight touchdowns.
