Man charged with drug trafficking after traffic stop

Regina Police Service Drug Unit (RDU) arrested a 30-year-old Ontario man, Denzel Alexander JOSEPH-NAPIER, on drug trafficking charges.

Following a traffic stop last Friday in the 100 block of University Park Drive, officers seized over $66,000 in cash, fraudulent IDs, and approximately 500 grams of suspected cocaine valued at $85,000. RDU, with SWAT Unit assistance, executed a search warrant at a residence on the 100 block of Barr Street, uncovering items associated with drug trafficking.

JOSEPH-NAPIER faces charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000, and possession of fraudulent documents. He appeared in Regina Provincial Court on Monday.
