Queen City Pride Bringing World Class Entertainer Denali Foxx to FROST.

Regina residents are in for a spectacular treat on February 3rd as Queen City Pride brings a unique blend of figure skating prowess and drag royalty to the Frost Regina! Denali Foxx, the celebrated star from RuPaul’s Drag Race, will be dazzling the ice at the Warehouse District Hub at 1 pm, offering locals a once-in-a-lifetime chance to skate alongside a championship figure skater and drag sensation.

Attendees can join Denali on the ice for a memorable experience before Regina’s first-ever “Snow Queen Ball.”

Riviera Bonneau, Chair of Queen City Pride, expresses excitement about the evening, promising an extraordinary showcase of diverse drag performances.

“We’re excited to showcase some incredible Drag Performers alongside Denali Foxx for what an incredible night of Queer artistry. The Queens will be serving some amazing performances,” says Bonneau.

Saskatchewan’s legendary drag queens Yada Ya-Oughta-Book-Ahead, Juicy Fruit, Adora Diamond, and D.Frost will be taking to the stage for an incredible evening. Bonneau emphasizes the importance of this year’s Pride events, citing the challenges faced by the 2SLGBTQIA+ community globally, making community support and allyship more crucial than ever.

Tickets for the “Snow Queen Ball” are priced at $65, with all proceeds directed towards supporting Queen City Pride’s outreach programs and events in June that celebrate Pride.

Skating with Denali Foxx is a complimentary experience, thanks to contributions from the Warehouse District and the City of Regina. Bonneau encourages attendees to take advantage of this rare opportunity to skate alongside a triple threat – an artist with incredible drag looks, a sharp wit, and remarkable figure skating abilities.

Queen City Pride is making its mark on Frost Regina, both on and off the ice. Additionally, a Queer Market is set for January 27th at The Local Market on 1377 Hamilton Street, providing another chance for Regina residents to support and engage with the 2SLGBTQ+ community through queer artists and businesses.
