Tragedy unfolded on the weekend near Corrine, as Milestone RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 39.

The crash claimed the lives of both drivers involved—a 76-year-old male from Midale and a 50-year-old male from Estevan.

Emergency services declared them deceased at the scene. An adult female passenger in one of the trucks sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

The Milestone RCMP, with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist, is investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.

The families of the deceased have been notified.
