Teachers May Announce Next Steps in Dispute with Sask Government

The Saskatchewan Teachers Federation may lay out its next moves in its on-going labour dispute with the provincial government.

So far, teachers across the province have staged two one day strikes.

The main issue is classroom size and complexity. The STF believes this needs to be bargained with the provincial government. The Sask Party government believes that issue should be worked out at the school division level.

The STF will be holding a news conference at 1 o’clock this afternoon, where it is believed it will announce what steps it will take to put additional pressure on the provincial government.
