Regina crews were kept busy over the weekend – attending to two fires.

The first fire took place Saturday night- when a garage on the 600 block of Athol St. caught fire. Crews quickly brought the blaze under control without incident. No injuries were reported.

The second took place Sunday night – a basement fire on the 2800 block of Assiniboine Ave. Sadly a family living in the home was displaced after that fire, with mobile crisis coming out to provide assistance. No one was inured in the fire.

Now the cause of both fires is under investigation.
