On February 5, Battlefords RCMP responded to a report of human remains found outside a residence on Red Pheasant Cree Nation.

A thorough search by RCMP Search and Rescue revealed additional evidence in a treed area.

An autopsy on February 7 identified the deceased as 44-year-old Candie Pritchard of Rabbit Lake, SK.

The investigation into her suspicious death is ongoing.

Anyone with information on Candie’s whereabouts between January 1 and February 5 of this year is urged to contact Battlefords RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

No charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
