Auclair says ‘Oh, yes!’ to Roughriders

Former Ottawa Redblacks Canadian Linebacker Adam Auclair is now officially a member of the Green and White. 

Auclair set career highs in defensive tackles with 63 and special teams tackles with 14 last season and now the free agent has signed a deal with Saskatchewan for the 2024 season. 

Auclair began his CFL career when he was drafted sixth overall by the Ottawa RedBlacks in 2020. His Ottawa career lasted 42 games, making 119 defensive tackles, 30 special teams tackles, two sacks, an interception and two forced fumbles.

He spent his college career with the Laval Rouge et Or, winning a pair of Vanier Cups. He won the Bruce Coulter Award as the top defensive player of the 2018 Vanier Cup, making 11 tackles and one interception in the national final.
