The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added former raider defensive back Nick Nelson to the team.

Nelson had 12 games in the NFL for the Raiders in 2018-19, while grabbing 20 tackles, a pass deflection and a fumble recovery. Nelson was also on the Indianapolis Colts IR in 2021.

Nelson played his college ball at the University of Hawaii and University of Wisconsin and in his final college season with the Badgers, he was a second team All-American and a first team All-Big Ten.
