Orange Jerseys brought the Regina Pats good fortune for the second year as the regime beat Edmonton Oil Kings 9-4 on Friday at the Brandt Centre.

A total of twelve different players reached the scoresheet in the club season-high nine goals as Cole Temple (2G-1A), Anthony Wilson (1G-2A), Sam Oremba (2G-1A), Tye Spencer (1G-2A) and Braxton Whitehead (3A) each has three point-nights while Ewan Huet made 25 saves.

Friday marked the second-annual Indigenous Celebration Night with the Pats dawned orange jerseys, raising $9,650 from their jersey auction, with 100% of the net proceeds getting donated to the Orange Jersey Project. Last year, the Pats raised over $15,000 towards the Orange Jersey Project after defeating the Brandon Wheat Kings 6-3 on March 15.

The Pats are now 20-26-4-2 on the season with 46 points and are five points back from the eighth and final playoff spot.

Regina will continue their three-game homestand on Tuesday when they host the Medicine Hat Tigers for their last matchup of the season.
