Moose Jaw pair arrested, charged with possession of drugs and stolen property

In Moose Jaw, a routine traffic stop took a surprising turn on Tuesday. While investigating a suspected impaired driver, police discovered the vehicle was reported stolen from Regina.

Further inspection led to the seizure of 35.6 grams of Methamphetamine and 67.3 grams of suspected Fentanyl.

The two occupants, 44-year-old Ryan Kupser as the driver and passenger Brennan Luhning, 22, now face charges including Possession of Stolen Property and drug-related offenses.

Police say a search of the driver yielded 35.6 grams of Methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $3,560, along with 67.3 grams of suspected Fentanyl with an estimated street value of $5,384.

A total of 25 boxes boxes of Pokemon and sports cards were discovered in the back seat of the vehicle. Moose Jaw police believe the cards were stolen and the owner of the cards is unknown at this time.
