Plenty of Family Day events lined up

Families in the Queen City are in for a treat this Family Day with a plethora of activities lined up.

The Wascana Winter Festival continues its run on Monday, offering a range of family-friendly activities such as public skating and sleigh rides.

The Regina Symphony Orchestra will be performing two free community concerts at Holy Rosary Cathedral at 1 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.

Those seeking winter-themed fun can head to the RCMP Heritage Centre for the Freezin’ Frenzy Family Day event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Government House invites families to partake in their free activities from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., featuring puppet shows by the Wide Open Children’s Theatre at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. Additionally, families can enjoy a selection of board games in the George Brown Boardroom.

The Regina Public Library locations will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

As part of the family favourites series, Southland Cinemas will screen PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, Nimona, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and Turning Red, providing a cinematic experience for families to enjoy together.

For those looking for budget-friendly entertainment, Moonlight Movies will offer admission for just 99 cents on Monday.
