Pats Winless in Washington, Play First Ever Game Against Wenatchee

Washington State, and the US Pacific Northwest have not been good hosts for the Regina Pats.

The Regiment on a swing that takes them through all the US teams, and so far the Pats haven’t pickedup a point.

The Pats lost 5-2 to Spokane to start the trip, followed by a 5-3 loss at the hands of the Tri City Americans. Last Night the Pats were consistent in that they gave up five goals for the third straight game, in a 5-1 loss to Seattle.

Tonight the Pats are in Wenatchee, Washington for their first ever game against the Wild. The Wild relocated from Winnipeg last summer.

The struggles on the road for the Pats shouldn’t come as a surprise as the team has just five wins away from Brandt Centre all season.

The Pats are 10th in the Eastern Conference, while Wenatchee is fourth.

The Pats will move on to Portland and Everett to wrap up their western swing. Before the Pats return to home ice they do have one more road game, but its much closer. The Pats will play the Warriors in Moose Jaw on March 8th, before returning to Brandt Centre to take on the PA Raiders on March 15th.
