Pats end U.S. Road Trip winless after 5-3 loss to Silvertips

The Regina Pats concluded their six-game U.S. road trip with a 5-3 loss to the Everett Silvertips.

The loss marked a winless U.S. Road Trip in which the Pats went 0-6-0-0 and were outscored 12 to 29.

The Pats got goals from Corban Almen, Carson Haynes, and Aaron Krestanowich, along with two assists from Logan Peskett.

The Silvertips capitalized on their opportunities, with Carter Bear, Julius Miettinen, and Julien Maze registering multi-point games.

Rylan Pearce, Lukas Kaplan, and Caden Brown also found the back of the net, while Tyler Palmer made 27 saves to secure the win for the Silvertips, extending their point streak to six games.

After the Silvertips opened the scoring, the Pats briefly took a 2-1 lead into the second period following goals from Almen and Haynes. However, the Silvertips responded with two late goals in the second period, taking a 3-2 lead heading into the final frame.

Looking ahead, the Pats will return to Saskatchewan to wrap up their seven-game road trip with a visit to Moose Jaw to face the Warriors on Friday.
