Pats wrap up road trip with 6-3 loss to Warriors

The Regina Pats ended their road trip in Moose Jaw with a 6-3 loss to the Warriors on Friday night.

For the Pats, Zack Shantz recorded his first career multi-goal game, and Cameron Kuzma grabbed his first WHL point with an assist. Braxton Whitehead tallied his 15th of the season, and Ewan Huet made 44 saves in the loss.

Matthew Savoie led Moose Jaw, scoring three points (2G-1A), while Denton Mateychuk (1G-2A) and Atley Calvert (1G-2A) also scored three points. Lynden Lakovic (1G-1A) and Jagger Firkus (2A) added multi-point games.

The loss also marks Regina’s winless seven-game road trip (0-7-0-0).

The Pats return to the friendly confines of the Brandt Centre on Friday, March 15, when they face off against the visiting Prince Albert Raiders, with puck drop scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
