Whitewood’s Hamilton named to Canadian Men’s hockey roster for 2024 U18 Worlds

Hockey Canada has announced the 19 players that will represent Team Canada at the upcoming 2024 World Men’s Under-18 Hockey Championships in Finland. 

Whitewood product & Calgary Hitmen defenceman Reese Hamilton was named as one of the players that’ll suit up in the event that runs April 25th to Sun. May 5th. 

Hamilton in his first full season in the WHL had 8 goals, 23 assists for 31 points in 42 games for the Hitmen. 

The 17 year old has represented Canada with Canada Red  at this past years World U17 Men’s Hockey championships. 

Other players named locally include Saskatoon product Roger McQueen (Brandon Wheat Kings), Brandon defenceman Charlie Elick and Ryder Ritchie of the Prince Albert Raiders.
