Spring litter cleanup set to begin

The City of Regina’s spring litter cleanup is set to begin, and the city’s remaining residents have a role to play in cleaning up the community.

City crews will collect litter alongside Ring Road, Victoria Avenue East, Arcola Avenue, Lewvan Drive and other high-speed roadways. For their safety, the City reminds drivers to please slow down when passing workers.

There are also remaining residents heading to the landfill to secure and tarp all loads to prevent objects from falling onto City roads.

Residents can help keep the city free of litter by getting involved in our Adopt-a-Greenspace program. This program allows volunteers to maintain a specific open space area, including litter cleanup of small parks, medians, and shrub beds.

Residents may also do their part by picking up litter and putting it in public trash bins.
