Saskatoon Blades Win in overtime, tie series with Moose Jaw

For the second time in as many games, it took overtime to find a winner in the WHL playoff series between the Saskatoon Blades and Moose Jaw Warriors.

It was the Warriors finding the answer in game one, notching a 4-3 win Friday.

Saturday night, at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Fraser Minten took a cross crease pass and tapped it into the net for a 3-2 win for the Blades, who have tied the series at one game a piece.

The two teams will square off again in Moose Jaw on Tuesday in game three with game four set for the “Notorious City” on Wednesday night.

In the western conference final, Prince George and Portland are ties up at a game a piece after the two squads split the first two games in P-G. Games three and four are in Portland, with game three set for Monday night.
