Tim Hortons’ Smile Cookie Campaign Nurtures Community Well-being

The aroma of freshly baked cookies fills the air in office’s all over #YQR as Tim Hortons’ annual Smile Cookie campaign returns, spreading cheer and support for local charities. Running from April 29 to May 5, this initiative directs 100 percent of its proceeds to the Regina Food Bank and First Steps Wellness Centre, helping fight hunger and aiding neurological rehabilitation.

Last year’s campaign set a high benchmark, raising over $170,000 for the Regina Food Bank alone. This year, the organizers aim even higher, hoping to achieve a $200,000 target with the inclusion of First Steps Wellness Centre.

17 Tim Hortons locations will be participating in Regina.

“We see the Regina community rallying behind Smile Cookie every year, and it is exciting,” stated Mike Di Stasi, Owner of Tim Hortons on 4455 Rochdale. “This campaign supports local charities to help them deliver their mission and build awareness. We are proud to say that the full $1.50 from each cookie is donated to them.”

For Sandi Marshall, Director at First Steps Wellness Centre, the Smile Cookie campaign represents more than just fundraising; it signifies a partnership in enhancing the lives of individuals with neurological conditions. The funds generated will contribute to their Children’s Fund, ensuring access to vital resources and equipment crucial for therapy.

To participate in this heartwarming campaign, residents can visit any Tim Hortons location, order through the Tim Hortons mobile app for delivery, or pre-order online at reginafoodbank.ca or at Tim Hortons restaurants. Each Smile Cookie purchased is not only delicious, but also a tangible contribution to the well-being of fellow community members, spreading smiles one cookie at a time.
