Regina and Saskatoon Police Teams Collide with Traffickers on Highway 11

In the early hours of Wednesday, May 8, 2024, Regina Police Service’s Crime Reduction Team, supported by various units including the Street Gang Unit, Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT)and K9 Units, alongside the Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team and Guns and Gangs Unit, concluded an extensive investigation into drug trafficking.

The investigation spanning several months, culminated in a dramatic traffic stop . The operation reached a critical juncture with a traffic stop on Highway 11 Northwest of Regina, where the suspects attempted to evade police and collided with law enforcement vehicles.

Now two adult males, identified as 30-year-old Zachary Sean Carver and 30-year-old Timothy Carl Muldoon, both from Regina, and 24-year-old Kailey Noreen Wolfe from Saskatoon, are facing a list of charges.

Upon searching the vehicle, authorities discovered a significant quantity of illicit substances, including approximately 1187 grams of cocaine and 4.17 grams of methamphetamine, along with firearms ammunition, bear mace, a machete, scales, and multiple cellphones.

Additionally, Wolfe faces additional charges including operating a conveyance dangerous to the public, possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order, and resisting arrest. Muldoon is also charged with weapons-related offenses and failure to comply with conditions of an undertaking.

The accused made their initial appearance in Provincial Court on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.
