Two males charged in Regina’s first murder of 2024

Two males – a 24-year-old and a 17-year-old have been charged in Regina’s first murder of 2024. 

At about 1:50 p.m. Sunday, police were dispatched to a residence on the 4800 block of Sherwood Drive for a report of a firearms offence. A male in the driveway had reportedly been shot. 

The victim, 22-year-old Everett Wolfe Roberts-Orr was taken to hospital but succumbed to his injury. 

Investigation led to the arrest of Isaiah James Dustyhorn, 24, and a 17-year-old youth who can’t be named under the youth Criminal Justice Act. Both have been charged with second degree murder and are making their first court appearances on the charge.
