Increased police presence in Esterhazy, as RCMP search for man wanted in Manitoba incidents

RCMP are advising the public of an increased police presence in Esterhazy, as the search continues for a man who police say fled from incidents in Winnipeg and Niverville, Manitoba overnight.

29-year-old David Burling is described as being 5’2″ tall, weighing 190 pounds, with black hair and hazel eyes, and he’s believed to be driving a green 2016 Subaru CrossTrek, with Manitoba licence plate LJB-238.

Officers believe the suspect vehicle may be heading west on Highway 22, possibly to the Fort Qu’Appelle area.

At this time, residents are advised to be cautious, keep doors and windows locked, and avoid approaching suspicious persons or picking up hitchhikers.
