Sixteen arrested obtaining sexual services: Regina police

REGINA – Regina police say 16 individuals face charges of obtaining sexual services after a two-day project targeting individuals who attempted to purchase sexual services.

On Wednesday, June 19 and Thursday, June 20, the Regina Police Service Vice Unit, Regina Police Service Trafficking Response Team, along with the Prince Albert Police Service Trafficking Response Team arrested 16 people. All were charged with obtaining sexual services for consideration.

Police say the two day project was designed to target individuals who prey on some of the most vulnerable people in the community and assist in combatting human trafficking and child exploitation.
