Three Regina adults have made a name for themselves thanks to an appearance on Pulp Culture Jeopardy. The Queen City Kidz is made up of Mason, Sam, and Darcy, who all consider themselves trivia buffs.
The team first met on the dodgeball court in Regina but soon found themselves lighting up trivia nights at a local pub. Not long after realizing the three of them had trivia chemistry, a social media ad popped up regarding a new Jeopardy! spinoff dedicated to pop culture. The show was looking for teams of three to compete, so Mason, Sam, and Darcy applied to be on the show. After a 2.5 month recruitment and casting process, the three of of them were accepted on the show and were soon competing on the Alex Trebek Stage.
“It was a lifetime experience. We can’t believe it happened even,” stated Darcy.
All three of them specialize in specific areas of pop culture news and events, making them a formidable team to say the least. The Queen City Kidz made it on to the pilot episode of the show which aired earlier in December on Amazon Prime.
