One person injured in Moose Jaw motel fire

Firefighters were called out to battle a blaze in Moose Jaw late Friday night.

Shortly after 11 p.m., Moose Jaw Police were notified by the Moose Jaw Fire Department, of a structure fire at a downtown motel.

The MJFD was able to contain and extinguish the blaze.

One person was taken to hospital with fire-related injuries, but no other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, but the MJFD and Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency are investigating the incident.
