A man has died following a serious incident Thursday evening in Regina.

Police were called to 8th Avenue and Retallack Street at around 5:50 p.m. and found the man with life-threatening injuries. Despite efforts from officers and EMS, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

The death is being investigated as a homicide by the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, with assistance from the Saskatchewan Coroners Service. Police urge anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers as the investigation continues.
