After the recent cold snap many Saskatchewanians were asking themselves “how long is it until summer?” We all know it’s not for awhile yet, however Saskatchewan Provincial Parks has released booking dates for those who want to get an early jump on reserving their favourite camping spot in Saskatchewan.
Season camping site bookings will take place on April 7th while nightly camping, group bookings, and yurt camping reservations will take place over the course of a few days from April 8th to 15th. According to Saskatchewan Parks, reservations will open in provincial parks on the following dates:
April 8th: Candle lake, Good Spirit Lake, Meadow Lake, and Saskatchewan Landing.
April 10th: Bronson Forest, Buffalo Pound, Duck Mountain, Moose Mountain, and Porcupine Hills.
April 11th: Danielson, Great Blue Heron, Rowan’s Ravine, and The Battlefords.
April 14th: Douglas, Echo Valley, Makwa Lake, Narrow Hills, and Pike Lake.
April 15th: Blackstrap, Crooked Lake, Cypress Hills, Fort Carlton, and Lac La Ronge.

Reservations will open at 7am each morning and campers will notice a price increase in 2025. Prices from Sask Parks indicates nightly full service will now be $49/night, nightly electric will be $35/night, seasonal sites will now be $3,800 for the year, seasonal electric will be $2,900, and group camping ranges in price from $92 to $260.
