Snow on the ground and a cold wind, that is typical March weather. July 10 to 13th at Craven, Saskatchewan, home to the Country Thunder concert site, it will be blue skies and green fields. The sound of generators and music will swell through the Qu’Appelle Valley. Sing-a-longs, whooping and asking for one more song will rise up.
Nikki Harris and Megan Benoit have come home to Canada to spread the good word on what lies ahead for the Country Thunder family. It is going to be a busy summer with not just great country music and artists new and seasoned, but throw in that rock side of having a good time. Two words: Def Leppard!
Tickets are still available, camping is still available. Coming up there will be further announcements about the Beer Garden Stage and some of the other highlites of the weekend events. Consider one single ticket and then look at the cost for an entire weekend of entertainment. And a reminder, you don’t have to stay out at the site all weekend. SGI provides a safe ride. You don’t have to be drinking, there are other refreshments available. You make the weekend what you want it to be.
