BIRCH HILLS – The Melfort RCMP are investigating a break and enter that occurred to a commercial property in Birch Hills.
The break-in occurred on May 2 at about 2 a.m. when a male suspect entered the property by breaking in a door through the back of the building. The lone male suspect stole multiple items such as alcohol, food and some cash that was at the property.
The male was captured on video surveillance. The male appeared to be heavier set, was wearing a hooded jacket, shorts, black socks, work gloves and slip-on style shoes. The male also had a balaclava over his head and face. If anybody has information on this or knows the identity of the male suspect, they are asked to contact the Melfort RCMP or call 310-RCMP for immediate response, or you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
