A fourth person has been charged with first-degree murder in connection to a deadly incident in Regina last month.
On April 24 around 5:30 a.m., Regina Police Service members were called to the 800 block of Victoria Avenue, where they found an injured man. He was declared dead a short time later. Three males—aged 23, 33, and 16—were previously charged with first-degree murder.
Now, 19-year-old Priscilla Irene Cyr of Regina has also been charged with first-degree murder and failing to comply with a youth court order. She was arrested early Monday morning and is scheduled to appear in provincial court on Wednesday.
Three additional people have also been charged in connection with the case. Leslie Ann Thorne, 28, is charged with forcible confinement. Miranda Kay Jasmine Pasqua, 37, is charged with obstruction and being an accessory after the fact to murder. Amanda Rae Twardy, also 37, is charged with being an accessory and breaching a conditional sentence order.
Regina police say the investigation is ongoing, and all suspects have made or will make court appearances in the coming days.
