We closed the 2025 620 CKRM Country Cookout Seeding season with a bang in Bethune last night . Thanks to Jane & Cecil Grassick who called in on behalf of her brother Greg Kistner. Unfortunately Greg’s wife Dianne was laid up with some health issues but she was in our thoughts as we celebrated each others company. Greg’s son, Tyson was also on hand for the event. We are truly grateful for such loyal passionate listeners who we call our friends. The hospitality oozed last night as we were all grateful for what we had and who we surrounded ourselves with. I finally had an opportunity to meet some passionate listeners of mine, Mildred and Leonard Kistner. Mildred informed me she has at least 5 radios all tuned in to 620 CKRM.
Thanks to everyone who registered and to all the recipients we truly appreciate the hospitality.

To our sponsors we thank you all for your involvement and looking forward to the harvest season. Cheers!
So I have, literally, taken tens of thousands of images during our cookouts over the years! I have offended some people for sharing images of their farms or houses without their permission and if contacted I will take them down no questions asked and again I’m sorry. Most of my images are relative to our events and the surrounding areas, others are just what I deem photogenic.
Enjoy….
First stop Bethune.

Took a spin to Findlater just up highway 11.

Love the Buffalo Pound and Northshore part of the Quapelle Valley

Cookout time!
