SASKATOON – One man is recovering following an assault yesterday evening.
At around 7:15 p.m. on May 29, police were called to the area of Preston Avenue South and Main Street for a report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had been walking in the alley when he was approached by a group of unknown people and assaulted with wooden objects. The victim was not seriously injured and the suspects fled the area prior to police arrival.
